Frequently Asked Questions..

Shipping within the UK is free! All items are posted via Royal Mail, either 1st Classed Signed For, or Special Delivery (depending on the item).

Once you have placed your order, I will aim to get it made & shipped out within 4 working days.

Domestic shipping will usually be delivered the next day (via 1st Class signed for, or Special Delivery), whereas everything else is posted Tracked & Signed, which can take anywhere up to 7 working days (according to Royal Mail, however this can change so it’s best to have a quick look beforehand if you’re keen to have it before a certain date).

You will receive a Tracking Number for your order so you can always check on it’s progress once dispatched.

Sizes are quoted using UK measurements.

A local jeweller should be happy to check your ring size for you, for best results go to 2 different jewellers & see if they come up with the same size!

Alternatively, you can buy one of my ring sizers for £2, or wrap a piece of paper around your knuckle & measure the length. Or, there are various free ring sizer apps available for smart phones, where you place an existing ring on the phone screen to find the size. ‘Ring Sizer’ by Jason Withers is a good one and great for that surprise present of a new ring.

Please note there are additional charges if I need to resize your ring due to the wrong size having been ordered.

Sizes are quoted using cm measurements.

To find out what size you are, start by folding your hand in lengthways (so your thumb and little finger meet) and measure the largest diameter of your hand using a piece of string and then measuring this against a ruler, or a flexible measuring tape.

This will give you the largest section of your hand that the bangle will need to fit over, and the size that you need to buy. This means you can choose as tight a fitting a bangle as possible so it doesn’t fall down over the hand too far.

Should you feel that none of the given measurements meet your size, feel free to message me with your size and I will make it for you!

These things happen! With so many variables on how to measure your size, mistakes can easily be made.

However, each ring/bangle is custom made for you & I would rather keep my prices as affordable as possible without having to add in an extra contingency for resizing.
Therefore if you have ordered the wrong size I’m more than happy to resize it for you (if you return it back to me within 30 days of receiving it, in the same condition is was sent to you in), with the additional cost of £10 (for rings) or £15 (for bangles) plus postage.

 

Otherwise, please ensure you get the right size first time! Most jewellers will size your finger/wrist for free. For best results go to 2 different jewellers & see if they come up with the same size!

Your jewellery is packaged ready for gift giving and is sent in a padded envelope to ensure its safe arrival to your front door.

If you would like a gift message with your order, let me know & I will hand write it on a card for you.

All my gift wrapping, boxes and packaging are made from as much recyclable/compostable materials as possible, I’m actively seeking to bring this to 100% if possible.

Custom orders may be returned only if they are defective.

Please be aware that all rings are classed as made to measure/custom order as they are made to your specific size, so please make sure you know your size before ordering as they are non returnable unless faulty.

If you wish to return an item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, & send the items back to us within 30 days of delivery. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping (either 1st Class Recorded, Special Delivery or International Tracked & Signed depending on the item). Once I have received the items back in their original condition, I will issue your refund minus the cost of original shipping.

Unfortunately due to hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty as specified by Consumer Contracts Regulations, nor can custom made pieces (please note that rings fall under this category).

If for any reason you have a problem with any piece of jewellery ordered from me within six months of purchase, I will make repairs free of charge for normal wear and tear. Any accidental damage can be repaired, but at an additional charge to the customer. If an item needs to be altered once sent out, it is returned and sent back at the buyer’s expense.

For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be refunded unless faulty as specified by Consumer Contracts Regulations.

By UK law, all sterling silver objects weighing over 7.78 grams and gold pieces weighing over 1 gram need to be tested to guarantee their metal content before hallmarking. This is carried out by The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, more commonly known as the Goldsmiths’ Company in London where my unique makers mark is also added. Pieces weighing less than 7.78 grams will not usually be hallmarked to enable me to keep the cost down for you, the buyer.

Oxidising blackens silver to create a contrast or to highlight textured or 3Dimensional pieces. The darkened finish can soften over time, exposing more silver especially over higher surfaces, but worry not – it can be re-oxidised again if desired!
This does not cause your skin to discolour and provides added interest to your jewellery increasing its unique qualities. Cleaning products, abrasives and even skin oils can affect how quickly the colour may change. There are many simple ways of returning the original colour through easy home oxidation (though I have not tried these myself).

Alternatively, for a small cost if you send your jewellery back to me I am happy to get it looking like new again!

Please treat all your jewellery with care.. I like to think my pieces are made well enough to withstand the daily wear & tear, but simple things such as taking it off before bed/shower/swimming, or putting on perfume, cream or hairspray etc. will keep your new bling looking good for much longer! Silver will tarnish over time & wear, & it will vary with each person & the chemicals etc it comes into contact with. However if you’ve treated your jewellery well, all you’ll need to do is give it a small buff up with a silver cloth to get back that glorious shine! Any questions, please feel free to message me.
